Rocketable is hiring a Founding Engineer
This role is unlike any engineering position you've seen.
I’m hiring a Founding Engineer to join my team at Rocketable.
Not to build another SaaS product. To build the platform that runs entire software companies autonomously.
The job: architect the nervous system for AI-run SaaS businesses. Multi-agent orchestration. Self-improving systems. Full-stack automation from customer support to production deployments.
The goal is to prove that AI can operate businesses at superhuman performance levels.
I’m looking for someone who has:
5+ years scaling distributed systems (100K+ daily active users)
Production experience integrating LLMs via foundation model APIs
Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure
Full-stack development fluency across the entire stack
The conviction that full software company automation is inevitable
We’re backed by $6.5M from Y Combinator, True Ventures, Bloomberg Beta, and Indie.vc, and others.
This person will be our first engineering hire, working onsite 5 days/week in San Francisco or Marin County, California.
